Remember, it's a fairy tale.

Forget words like "camp" and "trashy." We're out to tell a good story. This is a fairly traditional fairy tale about two good, innocent kids who go into the wilderness and come out fully grown, and not so good or innocent.

It's also the story of an oppressed class escaping a tyrant.

It's a sexed-up monster movie plopped down in the middle of a sci-fi retelling of Hansel and Gretel, Alice in Wonderland, and The Wizard of Oz.

But it's just a story. A campy, trashy story.
