I think it's hard to go wrong with a little Ed Wood. It wouldn't be a bad idea to model Riff after Tor Johnson (a 300 lb wrestler) and Magenta after Vampira in Plan 9 From Outer Space.Or maybe a giant green Riff with a mohawk.
